(2) Kaffee Bankrott - Day Care Center

In 87 of Prenzlauer Allee (in front of the S-Bahn station of the same name) the association mob e. V. provides a day care center for the vendors, the members of the association, the persons working in it, or living in the emergency shelter. Dogs are accepted. Kaffee Bankrott and toilet are also equipped for disabled persons. It is open every day from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm.

Kaffee Bankrott proposes various services:

- Social contacts and individual help.

- Free access to Internet.

- Occasion to make a break and to warm up.

- Coffee, tea and the other drinks.

- Breakfast and lunches.

- Demonstrations and exhibitions.

- Social councelling every Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

- Legal councelling by a lawyer every Monday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (even during the school holidays and the holidays).

Kaffee Bankrott does not receive public subsidies; it functions only thanks to the work of volunteers and to the donations of the population.

Because all what is proposed is financed by the association, we ask each one for a symbolic participation.

Kaffee Bankrott can also be a place of reception in a crisis or important problems. As much as we can, we try to propose help and answers to the people who need it. That is why the place is opened to all.

To ensure the good running of Kaffee Bankrott, the following rules are rigorous:

- No threats nor of usage of violence.

- No sexual harassment.

- No consumption of alcohol and drugs in our premises.
